Holy crap I can't wait!!!!!

Maybe they can cross over it with Prometheus LOL as well the Cloverfield infections from the Parasites is a bit similar to maybe what the Black Goo did to the Engineers.

i can understand this, because 10 Cloverfield lane got some responses as though it too was a movie that was not really worthy of a theatrical release, but the Cloverfield Badge was added to just generate potential bums on seats purely for marketing.

I actually felt ignoring the Ending of 10 Cloverfield Lane and looking at it as not being connected to the Franchise, that the movie was actually a interesting Psychological Thriller

I'll probably go see it. I hope it ties them all together and gives us some answers. I really enjoyed Cloverfield, actually the only found footage film I like, and 10 Cloverfield Lane was well done but I felt left more questions than answers. 

Interesting news Chris... i wander if this movie would be another Anthology with Easter Eggs.. like 10 Cloverfield Lane was or somehow it would connect both the other two movies?

I watched 10 Cloverfield land again the other day, and its a interesting movie that i felt they never needed to end it the way it was done... its a very interesting movie for those with a keen eye, where when you catch suptile clues you miss first time around that totally turn the whos the Monster on its head... but then its also ambiguous so all you get is a alternative theory...

Wont go spoil that movie for those who have not seen it, but 2nd and 3rd watch is recommended as you see it in a different light.

There is speculation that the first clue to God Particle was seeded during the 10 Cloverfield viral campaign and the USB stick found at the dead drop by a fan.

Indeed we have to look at it as a JJ Abrahams and how his Star Treks are a alternative time line to the original series.

I would be prepared to be disappointed though... because i think some would be looking for a more direct link to connect Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane... when they could end up as disappointed as the No Connection between those movies we all ready have apart from the Name Sakes of TAGRUATO and Slusho... why could Star Trek even be connected?   Maybe the connection is only as much as Star Trek could be...

Which means none..

We have to remember 10 Cloverfield Lane never even started as a connected movie, the events of this movie was that Howard was a Doomsday Preper.... who lost his daughter, kidnapped other Girl as replacement in the Bunker...

Everyone think he was nuts and at the end of the movie he was right.... the outside World had fallen to a World War 3.

JJ came on board to give it a Sci-Fi Twist that involved Aliens.

I think they could have made a few connections to hint at a connection to Cloverfield...

Have the woman outside explode like Marlena did....

Few other clues that could tease maybe the stuff the Bio-Alien Ships had been spreading could be similar to what could have caused the creation of the Clovefield Monster... Seabed Nectar etc

I think a key element here is the mention of an "altered" reality. Perhaps the Cloverfield monster and the Aliens from 10 Cloverfield Lane are native inhabitants to Earth themselves, just in different times? Think about it:

- 10 Cloverfield Lane made zero reference to the Cloverfield monster itself, or the New York incident

- Despite this, the same company "TAGRUATO Corp." was referenced in both films

It is possible that TAGRUATO plays a role in Particle and somehow they create a rip in space time, allowing for an overlap of dimensions. It's a mind-boggling concept, but the events of Cloverfield, 10 Cloverfield Lane and any other subsequent sequel, could in fact all take place in the SAME TIME. Which would explain why certain aspects of each film are consistent, while more major elements remain nonexistent.

I will write up a more detailed post about my theory tonight if I have time.

that's disappointing

It will be interesting to see what connection, JJ did hint the next movie could tie in to Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield lan.

I think this could set people up the wrong garden path.

They ultimately said the movies are a anthology of similar theme and not directly connected and so they are like episodes of the Twilight Zone.

If there is any connective tissue between previous TWO Cloververse movies....  it could be that the events of God Particle either show us Multiple Universes which i think is a definite.. but maybe also how a event in God Particle could have lead to the events that caused  Cloverfield and Cloverfield Lane in two separate alternative realities.

I loved Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane, I hope this next one bridges the two together

I enjoyed 10 Cloverfield Lane a lot. I hope this is at least as stylish and creative.

Idw if it will be good or not... i didn't like Cloverfield

Wow... now I like it even less.... and I did not see the movie as of yet. but... Wow. I agree.

Its going to be very interesting in how he is going to connect a unconnected movie to thr Franchise... seems like they have taken the "Cellar" and re-shot some scenes, and no doubt added some scenes and it would be likely they have deleted some scenes to all the movie "Cellar" to now become loosely connected to Cloverfield....

So we have them as busy in the Edit Room as Ridley and Fox was with Prometheus lol

But yeah its going to be interesting to see how this plays out, think maybe we better not get too carried away incase the connection is not even there and what Michelle sees comming over from behind the House when she escapes is anyones Guess....

We do hear what sounds like a Clover Roar but it seems something well lit up is in the back ground...  and so while its hinted it would be a Monster movie tie in as JJ sugested its a Blood Relative to Cloverfield.....  We cant get our hopes up high to if we shall see anything.

To me i first thought the movie would be about a Outbreak Caused by the Ingredient within Slusho that its turning everyone into Mutant Alieny Looking Zombies.... i think that would have fitted nicely with what "the Cellars" true Plot was about..... Chemical Attack/Outbreak....

But it does now seem like we may get a Monster Movie but only as in a Cameo?

Maybe the Scene where we hear the Roar... is something in the back ground comming to the House Area, but it gets Attacked by Air Raid or Artillery etc as it seems fitting that the light is from a blast and the roar is from something the blast has hit

I'll be honest, I was hesitant after we heard that 10 Cloverfield Lane wasn't linked to Cloverfield prior to Abrams stepping in, but it seems the recent news has contradicted that fact. Seems there's a larger plan in place than we initially thought.

The level of planning ahead and detail that has gone into this marketing campaign is staggering. My hype level for this film is about to hit 9000.

Okay, tell me its NOT just me hearing a heartbeat at the end of that audio file?!?!  God, I'm so hyped for this film...

Well with all the Monster Movies comming out and those that have been out, and how JJ Abrahams has not gone back to Coverfield after all these years, is maybe trying to sugest that they are not going to be following what happens after to the behemoth from the First Movie...

Blood Relation?  again why introduce a  2nd monster related, if they are not following up the first?  and the setting looks far away from New York City........

To me i think the chemical attack element gives some clues.... i would assume it left two scenerios.. one being maybe the Nuke on Central Park had killed the Cloverfield monster but the Fall out and Radiation had either caused something to Evolve from its DNA.... or some things.... or effected the Parasite Insectoid creatures it was carrying....  but then the setting looks far from New York City.

So the second thing i was thinking is the Slusho drink had a special ingrediant from the bottom of the sea floor, and i would bet that the Cloverfield Monster started as something else that fed on this and grew and maybe also had its DNA changed to become some Alien looking Monster...

So i would assume that the Slusho drinks have that ingredient that either has a Half-Life of being dormant, or that it takes so long a period of consuming it, before the drinks Special Ingredient leads to a Mutation.

so expect a 28 days latter meets the movie Monsters kind of Plot.. thats my take anyway.

That's awesome, can't wait.

Well this is very suprising News.... Cloverfield was a movie that i really enjoyed

Cant wait for this one.
